SEiSMiC: Enabling social innovation in European cities

This publication details the outcomes of the SEiSMiC project and describes how it has contributed to a deeper understanding of the social dimension of urban development, which in turn has influenced future research priorities. At national level, SEiSMiC has helped to frame social innovation in an urban development context, establishing local groups that will continue after the end of the project period. The publication showcases illustrations produced in the framework of the project's Sketch exercise, during which artists created visual impressions of citizens' views, ideas and inputs, and posted them on a public blog.
