The SEiSMiC practice-based guide to establishing national stakeholder networks for urban challenges

This 39-page guide outlines good practice in making city stakeholders active partners in an effort to influence urban research priorities. It is based on experiences and key lessons learned from the SEiSMiC project (2013-2016), which piloted formats for a future stakeholder forum for the Joint Programming Initiative Urban Europe. The piloting took place in 10 countries in North, South, West and Central Europe. The handbook describes the various strategies that were applied in the participating countries in order to establish a long-term network with a high level of commitment from a broad variety of relevant stakeholders over time.
